Titus 2:11-14
(New International Version)
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

I agree to Mari :) pure life in Christ Jesus teaches us to say 'no' on earthly things..

v.11 - the grace of God that offers salvation is Jesus Christ.
God's grace to us...is not acquired by us through any form of works we do...but through His love for us...He gave us grace.
Jesus Christ alone is our salvation...not through our works...so that none of us will boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9

And of course.. Through Jesus Christ.. V.13
Yep.. That's what i'm trying to say on my msg above..

:)
on v.12 - CC...remember what you asked me on our previous BS? that...what if you commit the same mistake again...am i right on this? Grace...teaches us to say "NO" to those unrighteousness.
In Romans 6:1-4...1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? ...
grace will teach us to say NO.
and grace also...gives hope...v.13 not just an ordinary hope...but blessed hope. :) for us to be able to do what is good.
